Southgate has got more out of Kane than any England manager has got out of any other England striker.

He has definitely got the performances out of Bellingham and Saka. He has even had Maguire looking half competent at times while he is awful for Man Utd.

He managed to take a team including Lingard, Alli, Dier, Rose, Delph, Barkley, Loftus-Cheek and Phil Jones to a World Cup semi-final. So does he get credit for that? No, we focus on our opponents instead.

I honestly don't know what it is that people resent about Southgate
