These are genuine tragedies. And yet

It’s surely basic common sense to check expected conditions before leaving, ask if you and the kit you have match those conditions, and if not, bin it off.

Mid thirties is so close to your blood’s normal temperature that any kind of exertion is potentially problematic let alone a long hike which might be difficult depending on your physical condition. Do you have training and gear to mitigate that? Will some great tragedy occur unless you go? If no and no then why the f**k would you do it?
