The only acceptable response to the twitter world appears to be that 5 of you lived in a damp room with a hole in the roof, sacks for bedding and couldn't afford to eat breakfast despite dad doing 18 hours a day down the pit.

He was obviously immersed into a privileged world at school and that has continued with his work and marriage since so yes there is a fair point that he perhaps does not have first hand experience of what its like to struggle financially in the modern world but I don't think eh should apologise or be ridiculed for that. It doesn't make him better or worse than anyone else.

Real sh*t show in terms of who to vote for in this election. I may consider the lib dems as quite like what i've seen of their manifesto although don't know what their immigration policy is.
