Restrict it to clear and obvious errors which have resulted in advantage and it's better

If you need to get a micrometer out to decide if someone might or might not have strayed an inch offside in a manner which very evidently does not affect the flow or outcome of the game or convey any advantage, there is literally no upside and every goal you see in the ground is a maybe not an actual goal. The whole point of offside is to stop goal-hanging, not legislate which individual blades of grass in a clump are or are not ok to stand on.

Honestly I'd be all for scrapping it as is.
