But presumably they weren't in strongest position to negotiate this. However good I thought our manager was after promotion (e.g. Lambert or Farke), I'd be wary of committing a reported £20 million over 5 years to make him one of highest paid managers on league (again only what is reported). And I still don't know how an investment group makes money from football.
