I remember the Esso on thorpe road gave away thing like mugs and soup bowls but I do remember those Esso coins.
FWIW I was related to KK as he.married someone on my mother's side of the family.
He too was a hero of mine as a kid.
I remember when he was being kept out of the team by Roger Hansbury and we would go the reserve games at CR, I thought it was sad that such a great player was playing in front of a handful of people.
