My brother and I had an inflatable FA Cup trophy that used to come out on cup final weekend. All the kids on our street used to play to try and win it. Then we would all go across the road and watch it on a TV set up in my friends garage with his dad and his uncle.
It really was a massive event that we all loved, regardless of who was playing.
