Indeed, but I think I'd prefer someone that has had success elsewhere

whether that is as a very well thought of assistant looking to step up, or someone that has worked wonders at a (much) lower level and would love to come here.

Rather than someone that has had a crack at our level, or higher, and not really done amazingly.

Unless, there is something about that person that means they are worth the risk. Which is the bit I'm missing on Will Still.
