I think to a large extent that is true...

Klopp wouldn't have kept Sheff Utd up. Pep wouldn't have won the league with West Ham.

And I agree, that sacking Wagner in November, the new guy would have indeed looked a success. No way would a new manager have got into the top 4 with the squad we had (even not accounting for the long term injuries to Rowe, Sarge, Gunn, etc.). Does that mean Wagner was (fairly) successful, in that he got Norwich to realistically where they probably should be in that league? So it is the recruitment. And how much cash.

I think a manager may just need to be a man manager. Fergie? Farke? Someone who they want to play for.
