Most Norwich fans were not 'deperate' to get to the Premier League

We've spent 6 of the last 13 seasons there. There is a reason we are known as a yo-yo club.

It is 23 years since you were in the top division. That is a generation. You are bound to be excited. But the gap between the haves and the havenots is now so vast that the Premier League is just not that much fun once you get past the novelty and the glitz.

Some fans want to go up for the money (but that barely touches the side). Some because it means we can keep our best players. But it was noticable this season that there was no real buzz around getting promoted and that is because the Prem is a bit crap.
