It’s a dive

Does have some redeeming features around the centre, waterfront, some nice historic cobbled streets and parks but the high street is dire. Working in insurance I spend all of my time in Norwich, Ipswich, London & Cambridge and 3 are a pleasure, while Ipswich is always the trip I look forward to least. Having said that it’s probably not a fair comparison, as the other 3 are all very vibrant cities. I don’t think Ipswich is any worse than most towns of its size. Arguably there’s a lot worse which says something in itself.
