We know from the Delia and MWJ interviews the club doesn't make instant decisions.

One interesting clue that this had been pre planned and Wagner knew was that after yesterday's game he was asked about the pre-planning on the eventualities of either getting promoted or not getting promoted and admitted no discussions had taken place.
We know this is not how the club operates.
They always plan for all eventualities.
He just wasn't included for a reason
