Lots of birds finally coming home to roost you feel

Years of decline have led us to here, with an old squad, a few good players but not many, a lot of old timers, some people on stupid money not delivering anything like VFM, a paper thin squad, not much evidence of talent coming through... Yes, we scraped into the playoffs, but with the structural advantage of parachute payments, we have seen is thin gravy.

Dave's reign has really been a symptom of a wider malaise. What's clear is that if the next appointment is a f**k up, then we will soon be introducing a range of League 1 players to our "champions league level" facilities.
