Its a fallacy that fans will be happy to watch good attacking football but lose 3 - 4 every week.

Ticket price is also irrelevant, football is sport not entertainment.
If you want to be entertained go to the cinema or theatre, much more likely to get what you want, and probably at a better price.

Football is about belonging, being part of something, so when those good times come you can live it with those that have gone through the same thing.
Its about pride in your team and area, about standing up and declaring your belief they are the best, despite knowing that its clearly not the case.
