The moment when you leave the canal from the Inverness side and enter Loch Ness is epic. Then it just continues to be epic all the way to Fort William.

It's been something I've wanted to do since I was young. It was supposed to be part of my sail around Britain plan, but I've had to concede that probably isn't happening.
