they should perhaps just ban oxygen assisted attempts

loaded tourists would tap out at much more rescuable altitudes and it would cease to be a cash driven guided procession of rich tossers to the top for a look at me selfie moment and leave all my s**t on the mountain. also they should bar people from attempting everest unless they have scaled one of the many 7000-7,500 metre peaks in nepal. that way they would keep the tourist income stream flowing but lessen the environmental pressure on the everest and make it more of a respectable achievement.
