Championship standard this season seems poor in comparison to other seasons

We are fifth and I’ve not been overly impressed by us this season. A decent home run has got us in contention but poor on the road.
We have 6 or 7 who have carried us but when they have been injured we have struggled.
The three that go up could easily come straight back down
