Seagull cull on the cards?

I remember moving down to Devon and, in contrast to the Birmingham local news which often had violent crime reports, one news report that stuck in my mind was about a restaurant owner on the coast who'd got fed up of the noisy seagulls s**tting on his roof and being a pest, so he'd picked up an old riot water cannon and was blasting them away...

Makes you think.
