They weren’t dicking around debating

They were professionally going through a highly complex situation coming to the correct decision

Totally disagree they were the show. But given the abuse they get, it’s nice to see how they go about a very difficult job and the process involved. And when they do an amazing job it should be commended.

And I’d say that the spotlight on referees has mainly come from the constant whinging by managers, pundits and fans.
