David Wagner's pre-match press conference ahead of NCFC's clash against the Swans will take place at 12:30pm.

DW on squad news: “Good so far. We were slightly worried about Jonny, as he felt sore after the last game. We got him a scan to be sure, it was clear. He trained today and should be available for Saturday.”

DW on Grant Hanley: “Everything you have seen in training in these three sessions this week has been good. Some further weeks of team training will help him get back to his best.”

DW: "Dimi Giannoulis should be back in team training next week."

DW: “We are in the position we wanted to be in. We respect all opponents, but our aim in this game (against Swansea) is crystal clear.”

DW on Swansea: “It’s good that we have seen what we should and shouldn’t do (against Bristol). We have clarity now (after Hull result), so we must show we have learnt what we need to do.”

DW on Luke Williams: “There will be no surprises. Their approach and idea of football is clear. Ball possession does not mean a lot, we saw that with Russell Martin and Southampton (against Leicester).”

DW on Placheta: “Everything I’ve seen, he made a good impression when he was healthy. I really supported him to make this step, as I really like him as a person. Unfortunately, with six months left he wanted to move on.”

DW on top six: “For me, it’s to win football matches. We have two left, but we are only focused on the next one.”

DW on McLean POTS: “Yes, I would have chosen him as well. I was a little bit surprised that so many of our supporters have chosen him. Usually players who score goals or are in the spotlight win it. This shows how smart our supporters are that he won it.”

DW on Kenny McLean: “When you join a football club you look at individuals. I expected from him even with his age, that we could improve him. He has done outstanding in this position at left centre half as well. He is football intelligent.”

DW on Dan Barden: “There is a proper goalkeeper in him. He has an interesting profile and is still young. When you consider how many years he has missed due to his circumstances. This shows how good he can be.”

DW on Abu Kamara: “I rate Abu as a player and a character, that’s why I gave him his first minutes. You look at his numbers, but he had a difficult spell at the start. You can break down under this as a young lad, but he came through it.”

DW on Mark Attanasio: “For me, it was more formal than a doubt. Now it’s clear for us. Hopefully, we can push forward.”
