I’m inclined to agree. I know he’s the new escaped goat and I genuinely want him to prove

Us all wrong. He seems to be a good guy and obviously there is something there that others with far more insight than us have witnessed. He didn’t lose us the game last night, I know that. I just prefer to see a more active and mobile forward with a better first touch, even if they’re equally ineffective! I dunno, I think fans are being wonderfully patient and respectful of him but that will start to ebb away. With Barnes (who I don’t think has been good in the last couple of games) potentially out and Sarge as well it really is time to show us, Adam. Time not to wander about, time to speed up, be more alert, and actually make the opposition worry. He did this a couple of times last night to good effect.
Other than that, last night I thought we should’ve kept out on the wings more, the midfield was far too busy and skilful. Leicester were just better, no shame in that, their bench was £60m+ so I heard.
We had a hugely better second half, as we keep reminding ourselves, however no one’s mentioned then olés and the “we’re taking the piss” chants from the away section, and that was in our good bit.
I liked the little typical Hernandez turn and run to the line with the seemingly impossible cross in, and some of his runs back and out muscle tackles were fantastic. Wasn’t sure about Rowe last night although I love his effort. Same with Hwang, that’s the kind of buzzing about I like.
Ref was pathetic, could’ve given us a couple of play-ons. Oh well.
