Here is the key difference....

When we had money to spend we tried to buy younger players with potential, that had the possibility of resale.
We never looked at 30+ players which was clearly a mistake.
Now we don't have much money these 30+ free agents look more attractive.
Saying that I think we have picked well in terms of leadership.
