the club took a 30m hit with covid and in one lump.
Gofreys fee would be spread over 3 years plus add on a so 7m a year

we spent a lot second run at the prem under farke which we are slowing getting some back but our wage bill is considerable.
We also saw our income slashed by 70-80m on relegation.
remember I'm the champs we are not near sustainable and rely on player sales to recoup the black hole we have every year.

The US cash loan stops us from fire selling but ....
