Perhaps it is just that.

And perhaps we were due a bit of a break (no not that sort of break) after some of the fails. I was more referring to the DF final season when it seemed that recruitment really was an issue - and that was the season when the more experienced players seemed to be needed and didn't come in. But yes, as has been said countless times on here, they won't all work out, and some that you don't expect to, will.

And also, as we have seen plenty of times over the years, sometimes the player has to spend a while with the club for us to see what he's really about.
