You’re not even having to say it, just type. “Fassnacht” is no longer than “Swiss Lad” and respectful.
But in any case, is it really so hard to pronounce foreign names?
Can you say “fass”? Good.
Can you say “nack”? Good.
Say one after the other and put a T on the end. There you go.
It’s not exactly perfect German, but it’s perfectly good enough.
