Need to sell or not?

Assuming we have some sort of business case to keep the club solvent and not rely on non guaranteed income,

We got about 3m from the Maddison sale I think? That would have paid for Fassnacht's transfer fee. All our other signings were free. I am aware that this usually means higher wages, but we also shed Pukki, Hugill, Cantwell, Sinani, McGovern, Dowell, Byram and Aarons and have not taken any players on loan this season.

I think the one we need to sell is Rashica as he is potentially saleable (although I am starting to doubt that), earning a high wage and not contributing. He's just a drain so yes he needs to go and we should try to get a fee for him.

We've got Tzolis off the wage bill (or at least partially) with his loan.

We've sold Aarons and Mumba for rumoured to be about 8m rising potentially to about 13m (with Aarons' add ons but would expect Bali to have some as well given age and promise).

That makes me think we should already be considerably better on the wage bill overall, and also have brought in a relatively decent net profit on transfers this season.

Then maybe we do not NEED to sell, although we would very much like to sell Rashica, and if a big offer came in for Omobamidele that we would accept it, simply because this would allow us some budget for the January window.

Personally I think I would go all out trying to sell Rashica, and hang on to Andy O at least until January. Get him in the side ahead of Gibson.

Of Rashica, if he's not sold we need to just have him play IMO.
