Yep, f**k Sky pulling that move.

I only found out about it yesterday as someone on here mentioned it or it might've cropped up on match comms/Canary Call whilst I was reading here.

Simple choice for me (always been country* over club, but that was never an issue normally as the men would never be playing when internationals were on) as I went to more women's games last season than men's. The next game we have lined up, our first of the season (unless we pop down The Nest the weekend prior) will be the women at Carrow Road.

*Oh - I'll be watching the WWC Final regardless if we make it or not. I can miss one Norwich game out of forty six. Same rules would apply if they screwed up the footy calendar to have the FA Cup Final on the same day the Championship had it's final round of games (you'd hope we'd have a play-off spot cemented by then anyway).

They (Sky) had some "Premier League Summer Series" running on their YouTube channel in absence of any real value uploads, whilst I and every one else was regularly visiting ITV & BBC YT channels for the highlights of the WWC games. Fuck knows what the PLSS was, never watched any of the vids; a pre-season tournament between Prem clubs? (unlikely) Archive classic games plucked at random? (then a subjective choice of which games they pick that fixes the 'result' of the series).

Whatever it was, it was clearly aimed at those I read from moaning under the WWC HLs about "when's the _real_ footy back on?!" with all their accompanying insecure cry-laughing emojis. I've torn into several of these f**king cry babies throughout the tournament.
"iT's bEiNg rAmMeD dOwN oUr tHrOaTs!!"
- being the classic complaint if you're playing Incel Bingo and laughing at the failure to spot the irony in begging for the over-saturated hype machine of the Prem to return.
