Disallowed Goal

Having no watched the YouTube highlights, you can see Barnes is in an offside position when ball is kicked. ( often players stand offside to make defenders retreat but not this time) HOWEVER! The keeper made a deliberate attempt to play the ball which fell to Sargent who was onside to cross the ball for Barnes to score so goal should have stood.

Was not the Ref was the incompetent linesman who flagged, and the ref accepted the decision.
