I dunno. We may well experience some big changes. For example,

increased flooding issues in more parts of the country, extreme weather (perhaps more hurricanes), some moderate crop failure / water supply issues, and might even be affected in knock-on from bigger issues abroad such as big tour operators going bust if people start avoiding the southerly destinations they are all locked into, import sources drying up (literally) casing shortages including food.

Yeah I agree the Armageddon scenarios will probably be after our lifetimes in this country, but feels as though they will likely start in other countries imminently and we will be impacted by them in our lifetimes.

Perhaps in 20 years our beach holidays will all be on the Baltic coast, or in Scandinavia.
