I was shocked by this sale but it might not be 100% because of his

defensive frailties. That, combined with having ready and willing buyers and player may have convinced them to get it done believing they can get a better return on that £1M elsewhere in the market.
Maybe they have other incomings ready to finalise but can’t do so without a bit of cash flow and this was the quickest way of getting cash as it seems like deals for Milo and Max aren’t anywhere near ready.
Maybe selling Mumba will help us get better deals for Milo and Max because perspective buyers will have less belief they have us over a barrel because we need cash quickly.
