Surely he must realise that he’s brought in to be expendable and shoulder the blame when a spurs team without Kane, and probably without Son, becomes the next Everton as the remainder of their squad needs a total multi-window overhaul.

He will come in, try a few youngsters. Some will succeed saving some future transfer feee for the eventual rebuild, lose lots of games, and once the directors feel the squad has a solid base again will get fired and replaced by a manager they think will be successful.
