When a project f**ks up at work you tend to expect - if no heads are rolling - the leadership group to show (a) some signs of humility; (b) that they understand and acknowledge what went wrong; and (c) have learned and have a plan to fix it.
If the club could get something like that across to fans I think it’d go a long way to providing the reassurance that things will be better next time out.
I need to listen to them again, but for all the ‘end of the season was unacceptable’ and ‘it’s too painful to watch the playoffs’ stuff, I’m not sure we got much of (b) or (c) tbh. Certainly didn’t get much (a) (though I think that’s because he has, for some reason, developed a siege mentality vs criticism)
