Excellent! Is he playing for the Elite or local team? The reason I ask, APjnr used to play

For Attleborough and also Norwich Elite with the PDC. They got invited to play against the academy a few times up at Coolknee. It’s a great experience to go up there. On a couple of times “we” absolutely shat them, especially because our lads were used to play as a Sunday morning competitive team with each other. Sometimes it was quite frustrating because our lads were used as practice fodder, maybe they were leading in a match and then the academy coaches would change our formation, or stop the game, or take off one of our players and coach just the academy kids for a particular situation that’s just occurred.
It’s great to see the setup over there. I think our lads (APjnr included) thought it could be an opportunity to be “noticed”by the Academy scouts even more than the Elite coaches had, but they soon realised the Academy coaches and players are a separate entity to the EPDC and PDC and CSF completely.
But still, hope he really enjoys it, and well done to him of course! Brilliant.
BTW if it’s in the Dome it gets pretty cold in there for the parents, if you’re allowed to watch.
