Kids today

Have both the best of now, and then.

There's radio stations/streams playing the best of the era you mention on tap.

Plus the best of any other era.

Plus any niche stuff they might want to dive into.

Plus there's great musicians now who have grown up with that access making great niche inspired music.

And probably those same groups you live doing nostalgia tours.

I reckon kids liking music have it better now.
