Some heat advice from a normally chilly place

You may recall that the pacific northwest had a crazy heatwave last June. Our normal 22c summer weather freaked out and it hit 42c in Seattle for 2 days, breaking the previous record by 3.5c.

We basically lived outside during the worst of it, moving furniture to a shaded part of the garden, sleeping on a mattress and using a kids paddling pool to dunk in.

Obviously that won't help people if you don't have a garden but is helped us survive!
