why do people keep making new music, surely the world has more than enough now?

there's s**tloads of things that need doing much more important than making some more f**king music. there are more than 82 million songs on spotify alone (even more on apple play) which if each one lasted a mere 3 minutes it would take a person around 492 years to listen to them all and spotify are adding on average. close to 40,000 songs are uploaded to spotify every single day it is madness. if we overproduced cars at the same rate all the roads would be stacked 58 cars high. i know this to be true because i made it upl.

surely all that effort would be better channeled into something more worthwhile?

stop making music people, it is so pointless there is more than enough, do something more useful.
