i totally zoned out tbf, took me a while to come to my senses

full disclosure, i'm not very good at all at being a football fan; i don't care who we are or aren't linked with, how we do pre-season, fretting over the kit etc. i can't remember most games i've been to unless i stumble over them on youtube and even then i'm not sure unless it was one of them bats**t high scoring games. e.g. smith said something about tim and andy and i'm thinking "didn't we sell timm klose? and who the f**k is andy?"

i save all my football energies up for stuff like fretting about the state of the highly polished brasswork on the locomotive sign over the tunnel, the colour and county appropriateness of the sponsors stadium advertising decals, if the kit man has lined all the energy drinks up in regimental fashion for a lo-shot pinsharp focus fly by panning shot on the city view series. my biggertst concern for the season ahead is have they removed the f**king astro-turf from the tunnel floor? it's not right i say to not hear the players studs clacking down the tunnel as they come out of the dressing room. not right at all. them's the things that really matter, the devil is in the detail.
