Is potter favourite?

To be fair, smith has achieved more in domestic football than Southgate, or as much at least with a longer track record.

I respect the view of those that point to Southgate having had some success as England manager, but I wouldn’t say we’ve overachieved in his time really.

Anyway, moot point as he’ll be here until after the WC at least.
