Ok maybe Germany (in decline at the time) a good result but not really anyone there we shouldn’t be beating at home (which we were for all but one).

Denmark were better than us as well. We got a bit lucky in that one.

Southgate is great in qualifiers and he’s competent enough to get results against teams we should be beating. He’s not bad. But he’s not great either.
