People aren't as altruistic as we think they are.

I learned long ago most businesses only care about two things.

(a) The bottom line.
(b) reputation because it can effect the bottom line.

I read that Phil Mickelson could make as much as 200M from this partnership.
That's clearly the price to not care about your reputation.
