Well that was stressful (but great)

Or great (but stressful).

I’m giving a pay rise to Mrs Git. I had no idea what a tough job being CEO is (my normal role being Non-Executive Chairman).

Fortunately Mrs Git had assembled an excellent team and all I really had to do was run around like a blue-arsed fly conveying orders (sorry, “helpful suggestions”). Oh, and hang extra bunting, monitor tea urns and run the beer tent and “hit the ferret” game (finally something within my skill set).

It was a thoroughly jolly, thoroughly amateur, thoroughly English occasion and massive fun.

I am now going to get quietly sozzled.
