It would, but unless they're going to put some cash in themselves....

that's the inevitable outcome of someone else investing in the club.

Personally, I think they should be willing to relinquish total control if the right people are willing to stump up the "benjamins".

Perhaps that's the longer term plan? Initially takeover Foulger's 18%. Increase that by future investment if everyone is happy with that.
