VAR wasn’t used properly for the first either

In my opinion, VAR should have picked up that moss had missed the contact between the players, no chance he’d have booked toffolo for diving had he seen it.

Therefore, moss had made a decision without all the relevant info, and should have reviewed it on the monitor himself and decided whether it was a pen.

The use of the monitor is stupid generally as it always results in a decision being overturned, which it shouldn’t. The message should be, there was contact, take a look yourself and decide.

Had moss just played on, fair enough, perhaps not a clear and obvious error, but booking toffolo means to me that he had made a clear and obvious error as he’d not seen the contact.
