Incorrect, some Liverpool fans did show up without tickets or with fakes,

One of my wife’s family members was bragging on Facebook about going without tickets and his mates were selling fakes.

The truth of this whole event will be somewhere in the middle. Liverpool have a history of this type of thing and unfortunately the conditions the UEFA allowed in terms of security around the stadium were sub optimal, leading to what we saw eventuate.

There needs to be an independent inquiry, not run by UEFA or Liverpool FC.
