Surely the main issue is that their ticket checking procedure

was wholly unfit for purpose. Families and blind fans (yes, really) kettled through narrow gaps, gates closed, fans pepper sprayed in some cases for literally no reason at all.

There will always be a minority of t**ts, but the organisation from UEFA was pitiful and the over-the-top response from some police disgraceful.
