...that was set up as the associate members cup, alongside the Full Members Cup, which was itself set up after the Heysel disaster as a stop gap when teams couldn't play in Europe

I think it'd be quite a competitive tournament if we had a divisional cup in the Championship. Anyone could win it too, given how the Championship goes.
