I think we've always struggled a bit through the transitions in attacking lineups over the last decade and ended up replacing whole rafts of the frontline all at the same time.

Lambert always made sure we had plenty of backup strikers, but we didn't really plan for the decline of Holt. That's where my concern lies at the moment, getting the most out of Pukki next year, but also making plans for a post-Pukki future. I suppose we were looking to add goals from midfield, but that hasn't really worked (at all).
