We have improved, we couldn't get much worse, but have we improved enough

We were an utter shambles in this division under Farke for about 40 games, so wretched and feeble and weak.

Smith has improved us, but really not by much at all, and he should be under real pressure.

Daniel had so much goodwill from fans that they at times ignored what they were seeing and remembered the good times.

I would not get rid of Smith, but if the first 8 to 10 games don't go well next season then the atmosphere will be poisonous and he will go.
