there are two solutions today?? Because one word is sensitive in the US??
My answer was SHINE - I have a dim memory that this might have been US slang for a black person in the past (I encountered it once in a Raymond Chandler novel I read as a boy, and was so struck by it that I remember it). Surely it doesnβt remain sensitive does it? Did other people have a different word?
