Yes, but this squad was put together to play Farkeball

It wasn't put together to play Smith's preferred style, and he hasn't been allowed to buy any players so it's kind of unfair to judge him on how its done. If he'd been here from day 1 I doubt we'd have this squad. This season has been a disaster because our whole approach was based on the fact that we'd be able to play Farkeball successfully in the Prem. We couldn't last time WITH Emi so it always seemed extremely unlikely to me that we would this time around!!
